At least 25 people were killed this morning after two ships collided in a river in central Bangladesh, according to police.
“We have rescued five people and collected 25 bodies,” local police chief Mirage Hosseini told AFP.
The collision between the two ships, one of which carried at least 30 passengers, occurred on the Padma River, near the city of Simsar, in central Bangladesh.
