Banks close this Thursday (16), Corpus Christi holiday

Febraban (Brazilian Federation of Banks) informs that there will be no banking service this Thursday (16), Corpus Christi holiday.

According to the Federation, agencies will not have hours even in those cities where the date was brought forward during the pandemic, as is the case of São Paulo.

Banking service returns to normal on Friday (17).

Self-service cashiers will be available for customers throughout the extended holiday, as will digital and remote service channels.

The Federation explains that practically all financial transactions in the banking system can be carried out through telephone channels, cell phones or computers, which will continue to be available during the period.

Consumption bills (water, energy, telephone, etc.) and payment vouchers due on June 16th will be able to be paid, without additions, on the following day, that is, on Friday (17th).
