Banks: How to enter the stores from Monday

The Hellenic Banking Association (EET) states in a statement the conditions for conducting transactions in bank branches after the recent additional measures against the pandemic.

In particular, in an announcement it states:

“With the JMC number Δ1α / Γ.Π.οικ. 69136 (Government Gazette Β ‘5138 / 5.11.2021) new protection measures were adopted for the management of the pandemic.

Therefore, from Monday, November 8, 2021, those traders who wish to make, with a physical presence, a transaction in a bank branch should:

1. Have a valid vaccination or disease certificate (the latter is valid only for a period of 6 months) or

2. alternatively have a certificate of recent negative diagnostic test (molecular or rapid) COVID-19.

3. The above documents must be accompanied by the legal proof of identity of the traders (which is in any case necessary for all banking transactions).

4. The checks will be made upon entry with the procedure to be determined by the member banks of EET and will be based on the geographical area and the type of services provided per store.

5. It is noted that the non-compliance of the traders with the above will be recorded in the event book kept by the stores and will be duly reported to the authorities.

6. Finally, traders are reminded that fighting the pandemic presupposes compliance by all of us with safety measures. It is therefore appropriate to use the alternative service networks (ATMs that are installed outdoors), and the widest possibilities of electronic banking “.
