A 31-year-old man was arrested in the act on the morning of Thursday (27), after putting caustic soda on drinking fountains of the company where he is an employee. The case occurred in the Industrial neighborhood, in Canoas, a city located in Rio Grande do Sul.
The Military Police were fired after a second person in the company was ill by eating the water available to employees. Another employee had already complained about the water.
A video recorded by local security cameras shows the exact moment when the man manipulates the product and puts him on the drinking fountain. The victims are well and are not life -threatening, according to information provided by the company itself. The poisoned will still be heard by the Civil Police.

The attacks on employees are still under investigation and the police already have images of the perpetrator by manipulating and inserting some liquid in the company’s drinking fountains.
The suspect was arrested in the act for the crime of drinking water poisoning, which is provided for in the legislation as heinous, with a prison sentence of 10 to 15 years.
The General Institute of Expertise, after requested, through experts and papilloscopists, answered the site and made several collections. From the analysis of chemical engineers of the company it was found that the liquid was caustic soda.
The Civil Police still do not know the motivation of the crime. The prisoner presented his version of the facts and, after the procedures at the police station, was referred to the prison system.
