Two plainclothes military police officers were arrested after getting involved in a widespread fight in a bar in the city of Esmeralda (MG), in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte. In total, five people were injured.
According to the Military Police, firearms were fired at the scene. The case occurred on Saturday night (27). There is no information about what led to the fight.
Witnesses told the PM that the perpetrators of the shots were fired by the two military police officers who ended up arrested and by a civil police officer. They would be in a house a few meters away.
The agents went to the house, located the suspects and, based on witness reports, arrested them.
The victims were rescued by people who were in the bar and taken to Sete Lagoas Hospital.
The PMs were arrested in the act, while the civil police officer was released.
The Military Police reported that they are investigating the case.
