The actress of the American series ‘Barrados no Baile’ and ‘Insecure’ passed away on Saturday (13), at the age of 64. The information was announced by her sister on social media.
In the post, she wrote, “It is with a heavy heart that I inform everyone that my sister Denise Dowse has gone to meet our family in eternal life. Denise Yvonne Dowse was the most amazing sister, an accomplished and illustrious actress, mentor and director. She was my best friend and last family member. Denise loved you all. I know she is taking care of us with all the love she has.”
She also thanked family and friends for their prayers, and asked for privacy. “Once again, I am so grateful for all the calls, texts, direct messages and silent prayers for my sister. We couldn’t have done it so gracefully and painlessly without all the prayer warriors around the world.”
The actress was in the hospital, in a coma, caused by meningitis. “Her doctors do not know when she will come out of the coma as she was not induced,” the sister wrote in a previous post.
