Barrage of arrests over Pakistan mosque massacre: ‘There was help from the inside’, police chief says

Manhunt to catch those responsible for mosque bombing in Pakistan from which over 100 people were killed on Monday the police have fired. According to Peshawar chief Ijaz Khan, several important arrests have been made so far.

Speaking to Reuters, as reported by the Athens News Agency, he said that it is being investigated how the kamikaze bomber entered the heavily guarded area inside the general headquarters of the police and does not rule out that there was help from the inside for the attack.

The police chief pointed out yesterday, Tuesday (31/1) that the attack was carried out in retaliation for police operations against armed Islamist groups.
