According to the publication “Chinese cars”, the prices of Chinese cars in Russia have soared to sky-high heights. Chery Tiggo 4 has risen in price by 260-360 thousand rubles, depending on the configuration. The best-selling Chinese car of last year, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, has become more expensive by 320-360 thousand rubles. Tiggo 8 has risen in price by 300 thousand rubles, and for Tiggo 8 Pro – by 420-570 thousand. At the same time, cars cannot be bought without additional equipment, as before, but now the prices are absolutely fantastic.
At the same time, there are no new deliveries, just as there is no information about how long this situation will last. One of the dealers said: “There are no prices, they have been removed from the sites. For all letters [представители компании] are silent. There are no supplies [продаем] everything that is available.” He added that the car dealership sells cars without price lists, using intuition and rumors: “They say, plus 20% will be prices, that’s what we start from.”

One of the Geely dealers called the new prices in car dealerships “protective”: “Officially, there are no prices, and now prohibitive prices are set in all showrooms. When we start to issue new bills for cars, most likely they will be tied to the yuan. And we expect that the approximate price range will be as follows: Tugella in the maximum configuration will cost 3,960,000 rubles, and Coolray within 2,500,000 rubles.”
Yesterday, the ruble fell to a historic low during currency trading on the Forex market. For one dollar they gave 154 rubles.
