The 100-meter vessel can carry up to 1,300 passengers and is powered by batteries with a total capacity of 7,500 kWh. Despite the huge battery, the range is only 100 km. At the same time, for these 100 km, the liner, if compared with a similar vessel based on an internal combustion engine, saves 530 tons of fuel.

The liner is a completely Chinese development. It was built by China Yangtze Power to provide excursions on the Yangtze River. The cost of the project was $23.66 million.

It can also be noted that the manufacturer positions the liner as the first to achieve true zero emissions, since it is charged using the energy generated by the Three Gorges Dam.
