The fire, which broke out near the village of Rabot, between Karkason and Narbonne, has already destroyed more than 160,000 acres of forest and agricultural land, and has cost a human life. “So far the fire has not been controlled,” Colonel Christof Mani, one of the officers who lead the Fire Businesses, told BFM TV.
