Krafton, a South Korean video game developer, announced Thursday that the popular game called Battlegrounds Mobile India is returning to India. The new game, which is largely a copy of PUBG Mobile, will offer “world-class AAA multiplayer” and free mobile games.
Studio Krafton has promised to open pre-registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India soon, but did not give a specific date. The developers have confirmed that the revamped Battlegrounds Mobile India was developed exclusively for the world’s second largest gaming market.

Battlegrounds Mobile India will receive exclusive content as well as unique costumes and features. The game will have its own esports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues. Krafton will work with partners to build an ecosystem by regularly delivering game content, starting with a series of India-specific game events to be announced at a later date.
Since data privacy and security are top priorities, Krafton will work with partners to ensure that data is protected and secured at every step. This will ensure that privacy rights are respected and all data collection and storage will be in full compliance with all applicable Indian laws and regulations.
