Last Tuesday (16), David Brito the great was consecrated BBB 24 champion . However, at the beginning of the second month of confinement, the 21-year-old came very close to giving up on the program.
In an interview with Gshow After emerging victorious from the reality show, the Bahian remembered this moment in his career. A constant target of other participants, Davi assured that, given what he was going through, his mental health was more important than the prize.
“What made me give up, at that moment, was everything that was happening to me”, he recalled. “They could judge me, because it’s a judgment game, but at all times, they were massacring me.”
“There were moments when I said this: 'Is it serious that I'm going through this because of 3 million reais? So, I'll give up. No problem, I press the button and they fight for their prize”, he added.
However, after being called into the confessional and talking to someone from the production, Davi Brito changed his mind and decided that he would continue in the dispute — appearing even more motivated.
“What kept me from giving up was the dream of changing my life, of becoming a doctor. Because it is the strength that comes out of me, it is the lion that is inside me and roars saying: 'You will win, you will win, you will win'”, explained the BBB 24 champion.
