The director of Big Brother Brasil, Boninho, denied rumors that he had reprimanded participant Rodriguinho due to his controversial statements on the Rede Globo reality show.
The 62-year-old producer turned to social media to clarify a news story published by the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo which stated that the former member of the group “Os Travessos” had been scolded by the program's production team.
“We love Rodriguinho! The public not so much, but we are loving it. So he didn't have any call, otherwise it would have leaked into the air. Today you hear practically 100% of what we say. So neither I, nor Dourado, nor the production caught Rodriguinho’s attention”, Boninho pointed out through a video shared on his Instagram account.
“Big Boss”, then, reiterated that members of the most watched house in Brazil have complete freedom to express their opinions. “He is mega-liberated to talk, like everyone says whatever they want, they are so mega-liberated. Follow the game! When he falls on the Paredão, then the public decides whether he stays or not”, concluded Boninho.
