O Big Brother Brazil 24 starts this Monday, January 8th, already breaking a record number of participants: in total, there will be 26 people confined on the reality show. In recent editions, the number of participants varied between 20 and 22 players.
With 18 brothers and sisters, from the groups Camarote and Pipoca, already announced, it's not long before we meet the complete cast of BBB24. Yet There are eight places left to enter the program, which will be played among the 13 people announced during Fantástico, last Sunday (7).
While viewers will have the opportunity to choose two of them, a man and a woman, through public voting, the participants themselves must also vote to choose six new confinement companions during the program's premiere.
The new edition will also feature changes in voting and new rules for the game. Like the Angel, who gained more powers and will be autoimmune, and the Leader who must fulfill a new dynamic on Fridays, called “In the leader’s sights”. Fans of the reality show will also have the chance to give feedback to the Leader of the Week through Gshow.

New way for viewers to vote
At BBB 24, the game will have a mixed voting system, with the public being able to vote in two different ways on the internet. To do this, you will need to have a Globo account and the same registration applies to any interactivity throughout the program. See how each voting format works:
- FANS VOTE: It will work in the same way as voting for the latest editions: the user logs in with a Globo account and can vote as many times as they want.
- SINGLE VOTE: The user can only vote once per wall. To access voting, Internet users will need to provide their CPF number, the authenticity of which will be verified.
- RESULT: each voting model will have a weight of 50%, and the final result will be the weighted average of the two formats.
Game divided into two phases
Another new feature of the season is the division of the game into two phases, with different objectives for voting.
In the first stage of the reality show, participants will vote for the participants they want to remain in the house; the one eliminated will be the one with the least votes.
In the second phase, the vote will be to eliminate the participant.
It has not yet been announced when the first phase will end and when the second will begin.
New group: Puxadinho
In addition to the groups “Pipoca” and “Camarote”, which are already known to the public, in this edition we will have a third group called “Puxadinho”. At the premiere of the reality show, the 18 brothers, who will already be confined in the house, will have the chance to choose their confinement companions. They will vote to add six more people to BBB24.
The result will be revealed live on the same day.
Autoimmune angel
In this edition, in addition to granting immunity to someone, the Angel is automatically autoimmune in the formation of Paredão.
New powers for the leader
At BBB24, the leader of the week will have more powers and will win a new task, which will be carried out every Friday, live. In the “In the leader’s sights” dynamic, three participants will be pre-selected by the leader. On Sunday, he will definitively nominate one of them to compete for public votes.
In “Central”, the leader will be able to trigger extra touches from the Monster's Punishment, and also discover the number of votes he has received so far. He will also be able to receive “feedback” from the public at the end of his term, through voting on Gshow, on what the popular opinion was regarding his performance as leader at that moment in the game, in which emojis represent the evaluation.
Furthermore, a camera will follow the leader of the week at all times, which will only be shown to subscribers of the Globoplay streaming service.
“Sincere”
In this edition, there will no longer be the “Discord Game”. The dynamic will be replaced by “Sincerão”.
The new game will also be played on Monday nights, but there is no information on the rules yet.
Cinema for everyone and daily videocast
Now, the weekly cinema will no longer be a privilege for the leader, and all participants will be able to watch the special session shown at the house.
In addition, a daily videocast will be broadcast live, from 7pm to 9pm, in which guests watch scenes from the house and discuss the latest developments.
One more room
Another room was created in the house, making a total of four (including the leader's). The objective is that the new division of rooms interferes with the formation of groups of participants.
The room and house decorations will be inspired by fairy tales in the 2024 edition.
