In an interview, she mentions that she only found out that her family members would participate in the program on the day it was announced on TV. “At first, I thought it was a prank, but I soon saw confirmation on social media,” he jokes.
Reaction to being the first to be bricked up
The duo Edilberto and Raissa father and daughter, were nominated for the wall by leaders Aline and Vinícius on Thursday night (16). The 19-year-old burst into tears because she was in the spotlight in the first week of the program and was consoled by her father.
Ludmilla mentioned that she believes that Edy caught the attention of the other inmates for being very “sincere and direct”, but says she believes that Paredão will be an opportunity for them to show even more strength and resilience.
Raissa’s cousin also shared that the family was deeply shaken to see the young woman crying after the news of Paredão.
“My mother, who is Raissa’s aunt, cried when she saw her niece crying and said: ‘I don’t like seeing the people I love suffering’. At that moment, worry took over all of us. However, as we followed the posts and comments on social media, we began to realize that this experience, although difficult, will only strengthen our girl even more”, he says.
Personal and professional relationship
Ludmilla says that the relationship between Edy and Raissa is very close and says that in addition to being father and daughter, they are partners in the day-to-day life of the circus, always planning and rehearsing the performances.
In addition to her father, Raissa’s cousin said that she lives in the circus alongside her mother and her two sisters. Other family members, such as his grandparents and uncles, also live there, living in trailers or motorhomes.
“The family’s income comes exclusively from the circus, as they do not have extra work. The routine is intense: they spend around two weeks in each city where the circus performs. During this period, the daughters attend a local school, with the exception of Raissa, who has already completed high school”, he explains.
In an interview, Ludmilla also mentioned that Raissa is single, loves parties and the family considers her “the enemy of the end”. “Edy also has this energy, at parties he always makes a point of dancing and playing different games. The two are, without a doubt, the most lively at family gatherings”, he adds.
