The ex-BBB Gil do Vigor and the presenter Ceci Ribeiro will present the BBB Chat in the 2025 edition of the TV Globo reality show. The two go interview the eliminated of each week live, right after the program decision.
Economist, Gil do Vigor participated in BBB 21 as one of the most notable people in the edition and, since leaving the program, he started his PhD in the United States and started presenting pictures in the programs Mais Você and Pequenas Empresas & Grandes Negócios, from Globe.
“The chat with the eliminated person is a very important moment when people wait to see the reactions of the eliminated people, the followers, the percentages and everything else. So, it’s a big responsibility. I’m going to give it my all. I am studying hard and preparing myself so that I can meet these expectations”, said the ex-BBB in a statement released by the broadcaster.
He also said he was inspired by the work done by Ana Clara, who was in front of the panel in the edition in which he participated in the reality show: “She brought a very interesting tone to the program because, at the same time as she was firm, when needed, she had empathy.”
Ceci Ribeiro debuted on national television as presenter of Bate-papo Estrela da Casa this year, after years leading entertainment programs on TV Integração, a Globo affiliate in Minas Gerais.
“The best thing about doing this format on ‘Estrela da Casa’ was meeting and working with the program’s team, which is the same as BBB and is made up of incredible people. I learned a lot from them, and the whole process was really fun. So, now, I will be much more comfortable”, said the presenter, in the statement.
“When I found out that my partner would be Gil, I almost fainted. I still can’t believe it now, to be honest. Gil is one of the greatest personalities that BBB has ever revealed, a person who brings education, revolution, authenticity and joy to people, and I will have the privilege of living with him”, he added.
TV Globo had previously announced the former BBB Beatriz Reis and the journalist Thiago Oliveira as responsible for presenting flashes of the reality show amid the programming channel on #RedeBBB.
The presenters who will lead the Multishow program, the mesacast and the reality shows will also be announced throughout the next edition of the reality show.
Tadeu Schmidt continues as presenter of the program, produced by Mariana Mónaco and Rodrigo Tapias, general direction by Angelica Campos and genre direction by Rodrigo Dourado.
THE BBB 25 premieres in January 2025.
