Housewife Joselma, 53, was announced this Friday (10) as one of the contestants for the place in the last pair of Big Brother Brasil 25, which will be decided by popular vote. The Bahian will compete alongside her son-in-law, physiotherapist Guilherme Albuquerque, and was presented during Mais Você, on TV Globo.
In an interview with presenter Ana Maria Braga, the Pernambuco native from Olinda revealed that she loves cooking, but is afraid of not being able to use the reality show’s culinary equipment, such as the cooktop. During the pandemic, Joselma used her talent to earn a living and sold lunch boxes to supplement her income.
“I won’t even know how to turn on that stove, tik tok, toptop, whatever”, joked the housewife. “Everything may be missing, except food. I like opening the fridge and seeing everything fall into my head.”
Joselma also admitted that she is good at drinking and had to make a bet with Guilherme to go without drinking for 10 days in order to go through the pre-confinement and selection process for the reality show, which was introduced to her by her son-in-law.
He also added that his mother-in-law is not one to spare a fight, which was confirmed by Joselma. “If I hear someone say that you didn’t do something and you did, I get upset, I’m baiana and that’s it”, he declared. “I’m going to have a dance, make a fuss.”
The Pernambuco native also made it clear that she will not put up with jokes from any woman in the house towards Guilherme.
“He just can’t cheat on my daughter, he’s not even crazy. I call him by the ear. If she arrives like this [para ele]: ‘Tie my bikini here’, I say: ‘I’ll tie it right now’”, concluded Joselma.

What is known about BBB 25
Participation in the reality show in this edition takes place in pairs, something unprecedented in the program. The BBB 25 cast will also feature famous and anonymous participants – the Cabins and the Popcorns –, as in the latest editions of the reality show.
The game continues with the dynamics already known as Big Fone, Monster, Joker Power and Lose and Win with the addition of more interaction with the public.
The new home decor will be themed “Dream Factory” and one of the rooms will be period.
This will also be the first edition of the program after Boninho left TV Globo. At the station for 40 years, the director had commanded BBB since 2002 and became known as “Big Boss”. It will be time to Rodrigo Dourado take charge of the reality show as genre director.
Tadeu Schmidt continues as presenter of the program, produced by Mariana Mónaco and Rodrigo Tapias and general direction by Angélica Campos.
The next edition of the TV Globo reality show should maintain the 100 days longending on April 22nd.
