BBC for Mount Sinai: One of the most sacred places in the world turns into a luxury resort

The BBC in a tribute to Mount Sinai referred to the Egyptian government’s plans to create a tourist resort in the area. The British network wrote that one of the most sacred places in Egypt-in awe of Jews, Christians and Muslims-is at the heart of an unnecessary conflict over the plans of converting it into a new tourist mega-port. Mount Sinai is considered the place where Moses received the ten commands. Many also believe that it is the point where, according to the Bible and the Koran, God spoke to the Prophet through the burning rash.
