The president of the National Union of Employees of the Central Bank (Sinal), Fábio Faiad, said in a note that the employees of the municipality will continue on strike indefinitely. Yesterday, Faiad met with the president of the BC, Roberto Campos Neto, but there was no progress in the negotiations.
The workers “will continue the strike indefinitely,” Faiad said. “In today’s meeting between the union and Mr. Roberto Campos Neto, on June 3, at 6:30 pm, there was no progress. No proposal for a salary adjustment has been made.”
The strike started on April 1, but was temporarily suspended between April 20 and May 2, before the Copom meeting.
