1.Hair

2024 will be (again, yes) the year of the bobsled while, among the colours, in pole position, vanilla chai, milk and caramel tones they will be the trendy nuances for the year to come. Blondes to the rescue!

Scandi Hairline

There Scandi Hairline (+6,748% on Google compared to 6 months ago) is the main trend that Beauty Pie experts expect to see everywhere next year. Made popular by influencers like Matilda Djerf, the coloring trend involves adding lightener to hair that falls naturally on the face. The result? Face illuminated to the maximum and an instant touch of light to give that fresh glow so desired but in Scandi edition version. Worth keeping an eye on.

Butterfly Bob

The butterfly bob saw a 466% increase in popularity. This is a new interpretation of the classic bob. Effortlessly cool has gained popularity among celebrities like Zendaya and Jenna Ortega, it's no wonder it is and will remain trending. It's a perfect choice for those who want a hairstyle that has shape and body and isn't overly elaborate or time-consuming.

Preppy bob

According to the Beauty Pie report, the interest in the so-called preppy bob increased by 311%. Brought to the forefront by our lady of trend, Hailey Bieber, it's essentially a straight, slightly blunt bob that reaches past the chin. It's the perfect option for those who want a trendy cut that's easy to style and looks great when it eventually grows out.

Vanilla Chai Hair

Vanilla Chai Hair have seen a 257% increase in searches on Google before 2024. Launched on Instagram by the American colorist Amy McManus, this shade has literally become all the rage: it is a hair shade also spotted on some catwalks (last January, for example, on the very blonde hair of the model Mateusz Maga) but recreating it faithfully is a complex game, because the Vanilla it's not just a blonde, but a perfect mix between honey and ice.

The skin care ingredient, theectoine, proves to be the biggest skincare trend for the year ahead, promising supple, hydrated complexions for everyone. Beauty Pie experts also found that highly effective SPFs will lead the way in the new year. While for Pinterest the 2024 trend to underline is that facial care will move to the whole body.

Ectoine, never without it again

Look out, there's a new skincare ingredient in town in 2024. And it is ectoine whose main function is to protect the skin, creating a shield against damage caused by oxidative stress linked to blue light, sun and pollution. An action that is not only protective, but also corrective: ectoine, in fact, corrects the damage caused even by UVA and UVB rays. Be careful though because it does not replace sunscreen in any way.

Chrome is here to stay when it comes to nails: lavender chrome, for example, had a 369% increase in popularity on Google, nude chrome nails increased by 128%. After all, even for Pinterest, one of the biggest beauty trends for 2024 will be metallic suggestions. Driving this trend is the creativity of Gen Z and Millennials who will pioneer heavy metal aesthetics in all areas of their lives, from beauty to fashion to design.

Chocolate milk nails

On TikTok the search for chocolate milk nails At the end of December it already had over 435 million views, demonstrating that the creamy brown shade is the coolest nail polish color of the season. Unlike regular brown, though, chocolate milk nails resemble our favorite breakfast drink.
