Beauty love at first sight: the power of the serum (even under the sun)

The serum is the ideal skincare product for the summer thanks to its fresh, light texture which at the same time manages to convey the active ingredients in depth. Miamo, a brand specialized in functional cosmetics, has also created the sunscreen in the form of a serum with an application in drops. The line is called Sun Drops and consists of two functional serums, one anti-aging and the other anti-blemish lightly pigmented to even out the complexion, both with SPF50 +, which guarantees protection from UVA and UVB rays, IR and blue light. A cosmetic gesture to be used under the sun, with an impalpable yield, and which can also be applied all year round as the last step of the skincare routine.

Why the serum?

To make the serum the star product of functional cosmetics is the presence of targeted and specific active ingredients for every skin need, integrated into the formulas in high concentrations and high bioavailability. For this reason, the Sun Drops formula is also differentiated: one active on the signs of aging and one on blemishes.

For ten years, Miamo has been studying the formulations of new serums, which are now 11. Pigment Control, anti-spot lightening serum with tranexamic acid, tetrapeptide-30 and complex of natural extracts that inhibit tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for the formation of melanin, and hydroxyphenoxy propionic acid (HPOPA) which blocks the transfer of melanin from melanocytes to keratinocytes, and helps to slow down photo-induced aging. Vitamin Blend 15%, is the novelty serum that repairs the skin and has an antioxidant function. Contains a high concentration of vitamins: vitamin C, vitamin B5 (panthenol) and vitamin B3 (niacinamide) to prevent oxidative damage from stress, pollution and blue light, strengthening the barrier and increasing the skin’s defenses.

The three serums are the protagonists of cover beauty N ° 29 of the magazineand together they constitute the defense against the possible damage caused by summer sun exposure: aging and blemishes, which can be prevented by applying the SPF.
