Venezuelan beauty queen Ariana Viera has died after being injured in a terrifying car accident in Florida last month. He was 26 years old. Viera allegedly fell asleep at the wheel on July 13 before crashing a truck in Lake Nona, Orlando, according to reports.
Her death comes two months after a chilling video of her funeral was posted, according to the New York Post.
Although the official causes of the accident have not been reported, Viera’s mother an;efere that her daughter suffered from fatigue and fell asleep behind the wheel.
“My girl fell asleep. She was tired,” said Vivian Ochoa in an interview with Telemundo31. “They brought her back, but when they were going to take her to intensive care, she stayed there,” he added. She reportedly suffered a heart attack after being reinstated.
“It helped a lot of people,” Ochoa explained. “He would stop anything to help you or listen to you. She was always there for her friends, her brothers, her mother.”
The model she also worked in real estate and ran Full House Cleaning Service, according to her Instagram page.
Viera’s father, who lives in Peru, reportedly applied for a humanitarian visa to attend his daughter’s funeral, but it was not approved until the day after the ceremony.
In May, Viera posted a chilling video on Instagram that referenced her upcoming funeral. “I’m recording myself for my future funeral because I’m always the one taking the videos, no one takes them from me”she captioned a video of various snapshots of herself pretending to be snapped at various moments like waking up, drinking water, and just hanging around the house.
The video is part of a trend where people edit themselves looking good and pretending someone is secretly videotaping them to parody movies or documentaries.
The beauty was set to represent her native Venezuela at the Miss Latin America of the World 2023 pageant in the Dominican Republic in October.
