There fresh beer at aperitif time is one of those rituals that make summer even more beautiful: it quenches thirst, it is an opportunity to be in company, relax at the end of the day, but also taste always different tastes. Because the world of beer in recent years has been experiencing a real boom, especially with artisanal products, which are no longer the prerogative of microbreweries, and many new flavors and aromas resulting from new methods of fermentation that deserve a taste.
Consumption, in fact, has grown incredibly: Coldiretti recently estimated that we have reached 36.8 liters per personand this is good for the sector which in Italy employs 140,000 people, not counting the related industries given that a third of the raw materials come from Italian fields.
Where to start drinking responsibly? We have selected some of the latest news: rosé beers, unfiltered, non-alcoholic, with new packaging signed by great artists, and some – few – great classics to be rediscovered, but with great news. What is it?
What is it? is the big news of the L’Orso Verde Brewery in Busto Arsizio: a rosé beer, inspired by the gose beers produced in Leipzig already over a thousand years ago. Really a nice discovery, the result of fermentation with neutral yeast, the addition of hibiscus, ground coriander in the mix of salts and spices, it is very fragrant and perfect for summer. Not only because it goes perfectly with summer dishes such as fish, but because it has a very low alcohol content (4.5 °).

620 steps, a Friulian craft brewery, as well as the first shared brewery in Italy, has just launched Arsura: yes, as the name suggests it is a beer born for the summer, a high fermentation Golden Ale, very fresh and thirst-quenching with notes of honey.

The novelty of the Angelo Poretti Brewery is the new one 4 Hops Not Filtered: a light, balanced and low fermentation beer, inspired by a historic recipe of the Brewery, the 4 Luppoli L’Originale. What sets it apart? The fourth hop grown in Italy, also present in the 4 Luppoli L’Originale. It is about cascade hops, a variety of American origin grown in Italy with marked floral notes. Very fresh and thirst-quenching, it is ideal for the summer.

It is a naturally veiled pilsner with a fine perlage, with a balanced, refreshing taste and a fruity scent. To enjoy it at its best, turn the bottle upside down for a few seconds, so as to evenly distribute the yeast. Kozel Dark
Selected high-quality ingredients and double decoction are the hallmarks of Kozel, Czech beer recently arrived in Italy. Among the latest news to taste the Kozel Dark, a dark lager thanks to the blend of 4 different malts but very refreshing and light to drink (3.5% Vol). Leffe Blonde (and Rouge)
Filtered and top-fermented, the Leffe Blonde it has a nice sweet taste with spicy notes and aroma with touches of vanilla and cloves. Yes, a great classic that we have loved for a long time, but to try with the new combinations suggested by chef Roberto Valbuzzi (also for all the Leffe Rouge): beautiful, easy, satisfying dishes that enhance the taste of beer, and vice versa.

It is beautiful, as well as good, the Unfiltered beer in a can of Menabrea. A blonde bottled immediately after the maturation process without filtering the yeast residues, with an intense and very fragrant taste. It is the latest addition to the «Arte in» line of the oldest brewery in Italy.

Cold Filtered Moretti Beer
Brilliant and luminous color, and a fine taste, a beautiful delicate scent, remarkably refreshing. Cold Filtered Moretti Beer is a lager with a moderate alcohol content (4.3%) produced with a cold filtration process, and the use of two different hops. It is enclosed in a special glass that projects it from UV rays, but allows us to immediately see all its brilliance.

Low caloriepleasant hops notes, and a lot of taste, all this with zero alcohol content: it is non-alcoholic beer FORST 0.0%. Thanks to an innovative production process, it is far below the maximum limit of 1.2% alcohol by volume, allowed by Italian law for non-alcoholic beers.

Grimbergenthe Belgian beer from Abbey, has a completely new look that tells its aromas and flavors Phoenix, which has always been a distinctive feature, has new shades that make the bottle brighter and the brand and the year of foundation are in bas-relief. In order to recognize the references more easily, the name is indicated on the neck of the bottle. The cork stopper in the 75cl format is very chic.
