The cast of “Beetlejuice 2” titled in Brazil as “The Ghosts Still Have Fun” met at a promotional event for the film in Mexico City. In addition to the director Tim Burton the protagonists Jenna Ortega and Michael Keaton were also present.
A character dressed in blue and a flower panel were placed in the location for the actors to pose. Names such as Justin Theroux, Mónica Bellucci and Tommy Harper were also present. Winona Ryder responsible for reprising the role of Lydia Deetz did not appear in the records. See photos in the gallery above.
The new story will show Lydia’s return to the house where her family was haunted more than 30 years ago. Accompanied by her will be her daughter, Astrid (Jenna Ortega), who will be responsible for finding a model of the city and bringing the ghost Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton) back.
The eponymous sequel to the 1988 horror classic opens in Brazilian cinemas in September 6th of this year. Watch the movie trailer:
