The Labor Prosecutor’s Office is legally demanding more than R$2 million from Voepass for labor debts.
The debt concerns processes prior to the accident that killed 62 people last Friday (9).
Between 1999 and 2024, there were 160 labor complaints against the then Passaredo Linhas Aéreas, according to the MPT.
Accepted by the Labor Court, the actions await payment.
According to the MPT, individual actions by the company’s workers and former workers have preference.

An ATR 72-500 plane crashed in Vinhedo (SP) last week. The aircraft was on flight 2283, which took off from Cascavel (PR) and was heading to Guarulhos (SP), but crashed after about an hour and a half of flight.
The aircraft crashed into a plot of land within a gated community in Vinhedo. No houses were directly hit. Even so, some buildings were damaged.
Teams from the Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center (Cenipa), the Civil Police and the Federal Police are working on the investigations.
