China Highway Research Institute will engage BotAioT to build a blockchain platform for storing electronic certificates and road measurement data.
Beijing BotAioT creates a system for encrypting data coming from equipment for online measurements and vehicle calibration tests.
The BotAiot blockchain platform is designed not only to provide data storage services, but also to help make decisions on management, development of smart contracts, and issuance of certificates.
Combined with artificial intelligence technologies, the BotAiot service system will be able to automatically identify, label and test the collected data, store test reports and certificates on the blockchain, and issue electronic certificates for road traffic measuring equipment. It is expected that within two years the total number of controlled devices and electronic certificates issued on the BotAiot blockchain will exceed 6 million units.
“Blockchain and distributed ledger technology is revolutionizing service models across industries, helping enterprises recover and manage identity, data, brand, lineage, professional certification, copyright, and other assets,” says Xueyu Lu, CEO of BotAiot .
In China, it will soon be possible to pay for road tolls using the state cryptocurrency. So far – in the vicinity of the cities of Fuzhou and Xiamen, Fujian Province. 72 payment collection points will be connected to the system, and the process itself “will not differ from paying with Alipay or WeChat Pay.”
