Beijing Express 2022: the wait is over (and we couldn’t wait)

It seems like yesterday that Nicole Rossi and Jennifer Poni melted into a liberating cry for having won the latest Rai edition of Beijing Express, yet two years have passed. Two years in which we have done without red backpacks, the challenge of the seven monsters, immunity tests and car rides often extorted by deception, and that must be why the wait that accompanies this tenth edition, the first on Sky, is getting bigger and bigger. The program, also produced by Banijay Italia, debuts Thursday 10 March with a new cast and a new path never seen before: the Route of the Sultans which will bring the 10 couples competing to travel for almost 7000 km between Cappadocia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, taking them to the final stage in Dubai, where we will discover the winners of Beijing Express 2022.

Leading this amazing journey full of twists and turns will be there once again Costantino Della Gherardesca, who managed to sew the program so well that no one else could slip it under his nose. For the rest, the formula of the program is the same as always: a backpack, one euro per day per person, the race to get there first, the decision of the winners on who will have to leave the race and the black envelope that could save them at the last minute. . The most important news is that, on this tour, couples will no longer move only by hitchhiking, but aboard dromedaries, trains, tractors and boats, undergoing, like the whole crew, a very strict health protocol launched by Sky to keep under control any positive cases that, fortunately, did not occur. Now, however, it’s time to sew up your mouth and enjoy the show: the wait is (finally) over.
