According to initial information, in fact, the plot of Sorkin’s film will focus on the creation of a single episode of the sitcom that required about a week of work between the writing of the script and the recording in front of the public. The narrative arc will therefore be five days, during which the couple of actors will try to keep a smile and a cool head on the stage trying not to be overwhelmed by the crisis that threatens not only their marriage, but also their careers.
The production workers of Being the Ricardos for Amazon Studios will be Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, Jenna Block, along with David Bloomfield for Escape Artists. Besides these, we will also find two old acquaintances of Sorkin like Stuart Besser, already behind Molly’s Game, and Lauren Lohman. Last but not least, the children of Ball and Arnaz, Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz, Jr., will also participate in the project. while the attentions are all for the new couple formed by Nicole Kidman, fresh from the success of the series The Undoing, e Javier Bardem, which we will see next year in the highly anticipated Dune, the new film by Denis Vileneuve postponed several times due to the pandemic.
