Its Ministry of Foreign Affairs Belarus said in a statement that an unspecified number of Ukrainians diplomats should leave within 72 hours and that the Ukrainian consulate in the city of Brest will be closed due to lack of staff.
The ministry speaks in its announcement about unfriendly actions but also involvement in its internal affairs while the war in Ukrainebroadcasts the APE-MPE.
He also said that the Ukrainian ambassador and four other diplomats would be allowed to stay.
Belarus’s state security service, the KGB, on Tuesday charged eight Ukrainian diplomats with espionage.
Russia has used Belarusian territory as a base for its attack in Ukraine and the office of the Ukrainian president had warned on Sunday that he sees a high risk of Belarus launching an attack in the Volyn region of western Ukraine.
