The Belarusian government has compiled a list of “unfriendly” countries, which was posted on its official website today.
The list includes European Union member states, the United States, Britain, Australia, Canada, Liechtenstein, Norway, New Zealand, Albania, Iceland, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro and Switzerland.
The list follows a decree signed by Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko in March.
Speaking at a security conference on Thursday, Belarus’s president said the West had launched an economic war against his country.
In a meeting with Pakistan’s ambassador to Minsk today, Lukashenko said Belarus supported a peaceful solution to the crisis between Russia and Ukraine and that his country was not in favor of any war, conflict or confrontation.
