A man stabbed his ex-wife and their daughter in Liege at Belgium, with the woman being treated in a serious condition, as reported by the Belgian media.

The incident happened in the house where the woman and the girl lived. According to RTL, an eyewitness who did not want to reveal her identity said: “As I reached the street I heard voices. There was a man who hit his wife with a knife. He threw her to the ground and then hit her several times. Next to it was a little girl shouting, a young girl. He pushed it in and locked it. Then the lady was still on the ground. He pulled her and hit her. “I ran to ask for help and called the police.”
The perpetrator was arrested, while it seems that he was known to the authorities.
