Ready to extend vaccination against it coronavirus in young people 16 and 17 years old is Belgium, after the “green light” given by the Supreme Health Council of the country.

Those who belong to vulnerable groups will receive it vaccine faster, as was the case with the adult population.

The vaccination of this group, which represents about 2.16% of the Belgian population, will help increase the overall percentage of the population which is vaccinated and the minimum target set by the authorities for the vaccination of 70% of the population, as pointed out by AMPE.

However, according to the Brussels Times, it will have a limited effect on hospital stress, as few people in this age group are severely affected by the virus.
