“The efforts made allow significant savings to be made. According to the calculations, lowering the thermostat to a degree it makes it possible to achieve a mean savings of 7% to 8% in heating consumption» explains Dominique Michel of the Belgian Trade and Services Federation. It is estimated, according to APE-MPE, that the erasing of lights outside of opening hours will save 12.5% to 15%.
