Bell by the UN for the Bosnia-Herzegovina crisis and secession actions

The United Nations Security Council held its six -month meeting on Bosnia and Herzegovina, focusing on the growing political crisis. Particular attention was paid to the actions of the President of the Serbian Republic, Milorad Dodik, who have raised concerns about the country’s stability and compliance with Deiton’s agreement. High Representative Christian Smith informed the Member States on the latest report of his office covering the period from October 16, 2024 to April 15, 2025. Mr Smith described the political crisis as the most serious of the time of Deiton’s agreement, and said that, after his implementation of Dontikos’ Democracy has approved laws that undermine state institutions and proposed a draft constitution, implying intention to de facto secession.
