Just days before the inauguration of Donald Trump, who is expected to return to the US presidency on January 20, Iran has warned America’s next administration against strategic miscalculations that could lead to a protracted military confrontation. “Be careful, don’t make strategic mistakes or miscalculate,” said Hossein Salami, the head of Iran’s elite armed forces, the Revolutionary Guards, without ever mentioning US President-elect Trump by name.
