Benjamin Cowen predicted a drop of over 50% from current levels. At the same time, the maximum growth, according to the analyst, will not exceed 30%. That is, it will gravitate towards the lower boundary of the level, since the general situation for bitcoin is not very positive.
“Of course, I could be very wrong, this is just my opinion. However, if bitcoin goes higher, then in the first half of the year, but in the second half we will see a recession, and this will also put pressure on bitcoin,” the crypto expert believes.
Benjamin Cowen believes that as bitcoin develops, its volatility will continue to decline, and hence the ability to earn income. As an example, he cited 2019, when bitcoin rose by 341% compared to the lows of 2018. And in 2023, the growth was only 100% compared to the minimum values of 2022.
Earlier, the analyst said that there were too many illiquid and simply fraudulent memcoins on the market and said that most of them would depreciate and disappear.
