Selena Gomez transformed the groom, the music producer Benny Blanco in a swiftie (name given to fans of the singer Taylor Swift ). This was just one of the revelations of the YouTube program episode “Hot Ones”, that aired on Thursday (20).
The couple is promoting their collaborative album, “I Said I Love You First” . It is the first big project of the two together.
Sean Evans, the presenter, asked Blanco and Gomez about where his musical tastes meet.
Gomez said she puts “everything” for Blanco to hear “even if it irritates him,” but when she is alone she can get “a little emo” with her musical choices. Blanco said their intersection was music made by Patsy Cline and Ella Fitzgerald.
He then revealed that his love made him enjoy the songs of one of the bride’s best friends.
“Before we started dating, obviously I was aware of Taylor Swift’s song … But I wasn’t a real swiftie,” he said. “I didn’t know! Now I’m like ‘put this song from her and’ put this one again? ‘ We’re in the car and I’m like singing Taylor Swift songs 10 years ago… I feel free. ”
We also found that Gomez acquired some habits from his older colleagues in the series “Only Murders in the Building” , Steve Martin and Martin Short, Eating basically the same thing at lunch every business day.
“Sometimes I say ‘yes, no and I remember while I was…’ Is it like ‘what am I talking about?’” She said. “These are Steve and Marty … they are the best.”
Evans added to the experience a bucket of questions for the couple to ask each other.
