The German Armed Forces will hand over to Ukraine two Patriot systems, in the context of an agreement with the US, which predicts that Germany will take on top -of -the -art systems, announced earlier today, Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, who called on the parties to the NATOs. “Thanks to the US commitment, Germany can initially support Ukraine with launchers and then with additional patriot systems components,” Mr Pistorius said, and clarified that the surrender of launchers will already take place in the coming days, while further components will be delivered within two or two months. “Through joint efforts by the partners, these systems, which will require repair work shortly and in the medium term, will be prepared and delivered to Ukraine ready for use,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
