There was a bit of everything about traditional weddings (and in grand style, of course): the elegant dresses, the ceremony in the chapel of Villa Gernetto, the (starred) lunch and the cutting of the cake (we told you some details in this article). The important words could not be missing, those reserved for the most significant celebrations. And Silvio Berlusconi, we know, he knows how to teach his words with great skill.
According to reports from the Corriere della Sera, to his symbolic newlywed – there is no certificate that formalizes the union – the Knight has reserved phrases full of devotion and sentiment: “Mine is a great love for you, Marta,” he began. Then a passage on the uniqueness of the emotional relationship – “It is something I have never tried before, and now for me you are indispensable, indispensable” -, a hint of the presence of Fascina in recent times, not always in the name of serenity and of health, – “You have been close to me in difficult moments, you have helped me”, and then conclude with an acknowledgment of the presence of my partner in her daily life: “You complete me, I couldn’t live without you, fill my life“.
The details on the table, the musical guest and the surprise one
The Milanese newspaper also reports the table arrangement (never casual in weddings, least of all in this one, designed down to the smallest detail by Massimo D’Ascanio and Daniela Russo) of the diners, also suggested by the name of each one embroidered on the napkins. Berlusconi’s daughters occupied the positions closest to the spouses at the royal table where white and yellow dominated: Marina would be seated next to her father, while Barbara would take place next to Fascina. A “spatial” concretization of the support – arrived only at a later time – of the children towards this symbolic union. Absent Pier Silvio who apparently feared the gathering of people, despite the guests having undergone a molecular swab before participating.
As usual, there was also room for music. Exceptional musical guest of the wedding was Gigi D’Alessio, whose presence was defined by the spouses as a real gift. Silvio Berlusconi and his lifelong friend Confalonieri would also perform singing performances, interpreting French songs and, to close, O my beautiful Madunina.
Surprise guest – for the guests, not for the newlyweds – Matteo Salvini, leader of the League and ally of the Knight (the only one to have been invited). To him, greeted with a certain caution by the other members of Forza Italia present, the groom reserved flattering words on the occasion of the usual photos behind the (fake) three-story cake: “He he is the only true leader in Italy: he’s sincere, that’s why I admire him and love him very much ».
With all the sincerity at his disposal, Matteo Salvini did not however bother to finish among the last. And to leave first.
