Best Easter eggs: check out the winners of the 2024 tasting

A Easter arrived and, next to her, the traditional CNN Viagem & Gastronomia Easter Egg Tasting It is also already among us.

From small boutique chocolate shops, traditional sweet shops to big brands with units spread across the main markets, this year 46 Easter eggs were selected and tasted.

To help with the pleasant task, our presenter Daniela Filomeno and the team CNN Travel & Gastronomy They brought together a great group of people in the newsroom – who can't do without good chocolate – to evaluate one by one. The eggs went through a prior selection made by the team CNN V&G.

The judging team included Alê Sotero pastry chef at Mocotó; Bertrand Leopold François Busquet, Head Chef at Chocolate Academy; Brenda Freitas pastry chef at Maní and Ju Coladela , pastry chef at Charco. In addition, of course, to experts and foodies Karla Chaves , Lilian Sá , Maria Eduarda Musa (personal chef) and Restauranter Danny Simon .

Eggs with different flavors and fillings were tested, with prices starting from R$39.99 and reaching R$520.

See the first place winners in the “Artisanal” category of the tasting:

  1. Petite Fleur, with crunchy almond egg
  2. Beau Bon, with caramelized semi-sweet chocolate egg and fleur de sel
  3. Casa Santa Luzia and Made by Nina tied, with Santa Luzia being made with semi-sweet chocolate with candied orange and Cointreau and Made by Nina's with semi-sweet chocolate and coffee ganache
