Best wildlife photography of the year: 25 photos to vote on

The “Wildlife Photographer of the Year: People’s Choice 2023” award, from the Natural History Museum (NHM) in London, United Kingdom, put 25 wildlife photographs (gallery above) up for popular voting.

The 25 selected images were chosen by an international jury from among 49,957 photos submitted from 95 countries. It is possible to vote by museum link. Voting ends on January 31, 2024.

The winner of the popular vote award and the four best images will be announced in February 2024.

“As our panel of judges can only award 100 winners, every year the Natural History Museum chooses a further 25 photographs, from which we ask the public to select the recipient of the award by popular vote”, explain the organizers.

Currently, the 25 finalists are on display in the NHM’s “Wildlife Photographer of the Year” exhibition.

The public can vote for their favorite image online or in the museum’s main exhibition.

The 60th contest is with open for subscriptions for photographers of all ages, nationalities and experiences until December 7th this year.
