about “information distributed in violation of the law.”
It turned out that the Russian Prosecutor General was applied by the Bank of Russia, which from December 2021 received the right to demand to block Internet resources from his choice. The reason for the blocking could be problems with one of the metabolic points presented on the BestChange monitoring panel.
Bestchange, together with DRC lawyers, submitted requests to state bodies, arguing that there is no information distributed in violation of the law on the site – which means that it must be immediately excluded from the list of blocked ones. Gorges satisfied the requirement.
“The blocking puzzled us, since the information on Bestchange.ru did not fall under the established criteria of violations.
