Bethesda is ditching its own launcher for PC – access to games will be lost from May

Instead, Bethesda is moving gamers entirely to the digital distribution platform Steam. According to the developers, already in early April, users will be able to transfer their games and wallet to a Steam account. Bethesda emphasizes that it will be possible to transfer the entire game library and wallet to Steam, while no Bethesda.net account data will be lost.

Saved games will also be migrated for many products. In some cases, this will require you to perform certain actions manually. Gamers will be able to continue using their Bethesda.net credentials to sign in to games that require authorization. The Bethesda.net account will not be deleted. It will still be usable on the website and in games. Moreover, it is planned to continue support for all Bethesda.net accounts in future products.

Gamers will be able to use the Bethesda.net launcher and the games available on it until May. Beginning in May, the ability to use the Bethesda.net Launcher to access games will no longer be available.
