Betty Faria celebrates the return of “Tieta”: “Proud of what she represents”

The actress Betty Faria 83, celebrated the return of “Tieta” on TV Globo screens. The plot, originally shown between 1989 and 1990, will be shown on “Worth Seeing Again” from December 2nd.

According to the artist, who played the protagonist in the second phase of the serial, Tieta’s visionary personality is her most admirable characteristic.

“I’m proud of what she represents. Tieta was very modern, today she is still revolutionary. He was a good person, full of love, who arrived in the city to help improve the situation, always bringing new ideas and overturning prejudices”, says Faria in a press release.

Betty was also thrilled to discover that the story would be re-aired. “I was very happy because it is a work that entered the hearts of the public and stayed. It was a great success in my maturity as an actress, which brought me a lot of happiness, and a soap opera shown in many countries, always very well received”, she added.

On the Rio station’s social networks, the actress also joked about her return, with the character’s characterization. “I didn’t say I was coming back. On December 2nd, at Vale a Pena a Ver De Novo. Me myself”, he joked.

In addition to Betty, who headed the cast, “Tieta”, written by Aguinaldo Silva, Ana Maria Moretzsohn and Ricardo Linhares, features other big names such as Toná Magalhães, Arlete Salles, Luciana Braga, Paulo Betti, José Mayer, Ary Fontoura , Armando Bógus, Mirian Pires, Lilia Cabral, Rosane Gofman and Bemvindo Sequeira.
