If you’ve ever looked at a “boteco” and thought “hmm”, then this delicacy was made for you.
Miller High Life, in partnership with Tipsy Scoop, a manufacturer of ice creams that are infused with alcohol, created an ice cream with a “bar” flavor.
“To celebrate pubs and ice cream parlors, we partnered with Miller High Life to create bar ice cream, taking all the best parts of the pub and bringing them to your taste buds,” Tipsy Scoop says on its website.
The treat includes premium ice cream infused with High Life beer and other pub staples.
This includes: peanuts, a traditional bar snack; tobacco smoke flavoring, to replicate the smell of the bar; caramel, because they have a sticky floor; carbonated bonbons, to replicate the effervescence of beer; and dark chocolate, which is similar in color to dark wood and dim lighting.
It’s “a perfect blend of smoky vanilla, sticky toffee and the beer you love,” says Miller High Life in an Instagram post.
This ice cream contains up to 5% alcohol by volume, so beware of brain-freezing hangovers.
