Beyonce Becomes Highest-Grossing Female Artist In History

Wherever it goes, the “Renaissance World Tour” has accumulated large numbers. This time, Beyoncé reached new heights and became the singer with the highest-grossing female concert in history.

According to information from “Touring Data”, a site specializing in concert reports, released on Tuesday (8), the singer earned US$ 16.5 million in one night (about R$ 80 million, at current prices).

Beyoncé performed in New Jersey on July 29th and 30th at MetLife Stadium, where she achieved the aforementioned numbers. Above it are just two concerts by country music singer George Harvey Strait, according to the website.

In addition, Beyoncé also surpassed US$ 1.3 billion – approximately R$ 6.3 billion – with the sale of 1.2 million tickets in all of her tours and became the highest-grossing black artist in history.

The “Renaissance” tour has already played 33 shows in different places around the world drawing huge crowds. However, there is still no forecast that she will come to Brazil or any other country in South America. So far, the box office of this tour accumulates U$ 296 million (about R$ 1.5 billion), with 23 shows remaining. ahead that will be held in the United States and Canada.

Even without reaching the end, the singer has already raised values ​​above that of her last tour “Formation”, which totaled US$ 210 million (about R$ 1 billion) at the box office. Beyoncé also surpassed singer Celine Dion, becoming the female artist with the most tours grossing more than $ 200 million, four in total.

The “Renaissance World Tour” takes its name from the album released by Beyoncé in 2022, which won three Grammy statuettes: Best Dance / Electronic Music Recording with the track “Break My Soul”, Best R&B Song with the track “Cuuf It ” and Best Dance/Electronic Album.
