Through this partnership, a new joint company will be created with the participation of both business families.

In fact, for this purpose, the two companies have acquired a land area of ​​11 acres in the area of ​​Eleonas, where a new production unit will be created with a total area of ​​25,000 sq.m. This information is confirmed by sources close to the agreement.

This development was formally completed after the departure from Floridis AEVEK, of one of the two brothers and one of the main shareholders, Giannis Floridis, with the acquisition of his stake by his brother Charalambos Floridis.

It is pointed out that before leaving the company, G. Floridis held the duties of vice president and managing director. According to the report at our disposal, the two brothers and participants had major disagreements with each other in recent years, which led to this move and the decision to follow separate paths.

At the same time, Dionysis Nasopoulos, managing director of Nasopoulos Bros., participates in the administrative affairs of Florida AEVEK as managing director, while Charalambos Floridis, on his part, holds the position of president of Nasopoi Bros.

The partnership of two companies with a total turnover of over 150 million euros

The partnership of the two companies brings synergies between two entities where Florida AEVEK had a turnover in 2021, amounting to 87 million euros with net profits after taxes of 4.58 million euros, from 83.7 million euros in sales in 2020 and net profits after from taxes of 1.4 million euros.

Respectively, Nasopoulos Bros. had a turnover of 65.78 million euros in 2021, from 57.29 million euros in 2020 and its net profit after taxes was 3.47 million euros compared to 400.6 thousand euros in its fiscal year. 2020.

It is noted that the largest player in the Greek meat market is Voudouris – Konstas – Meats Attica, with a turnover of 93.92 million euros in the last published fiscal year 2020 and net profits after taxes amounting to 1.13 million euros.

At the same time, the departed, Giannis Floridis, proceeded to the establishment of a new company, with the name Floridis Meats SA, which is based in Kryoneri, Attica, a move which was completed formally with the establishment of this company, at the end of last May.

Apart from Giannis Floridis, his three children, Konstantinos – Marios, Vasiliki and Anna, also participate in the newly established company.
