Support for deportees

There is no obligation on the part of the federal government to support deportees, according to experts interviewed by CNN. This is because they are not refugees or political exiles.

Furthermore, there is no repatriation process, because they are already Brazilians. Generally, the government only provides conditions for deportees to return to their homeland. Deportees of other nationalities are sent to their countries of origin.
