Biden, Kamala and Trump attend event to mark 23rd anniversary of 9/11 attacks

US President Joe Biden, Vice President and White House candidate Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump met on Wednesday (11) during an event commemorating the 23rd anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

The meeting took place at Ground Zero in Manhattan, New York.

The three are also scheduled to visit Shanksville, Pennsylvania, to attend a wreath-laying ceremony at the Flight 93 memorial. It is unclear whether Democrats and Republicans will meet during that second meeting.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the Democratic vice presidential candidate, will also attend an event to mark the occasion. His office did not say where the event will take place.

This is the second time Trump and Kamala have come face to face. The first time was less than 24 hours ago, during the ABC News presidential debate. The confrontation was marked by mutual attacks between the two candidates for the White House.
