Biden pardoned five members of his family and one native

Outgoing US President Joe Biden has preemptively pardoned five members of his family, saying he wanted to prevent them from being targeted in “baseless and politically motivated investigations”. On the list are his two brothers, James and Francis, James’ wife Sarah, Biden’s sister Valerie and her husband John. “My family has been targeted by endless attacks and threats, motivated solely by a desire to harm me – this is the worst kind of party politics. Unfortunately, I have no reason to believe that the attacks will stop,” explained 82-year-old Joe Biden, who in December also pardoned his son, Hunter.
